Drug-Free Relief for Pain Associated with Fibromyalgia

Break Free from Fibromyalgia Pain with
FibroLux™ Laser Therapy

Fibromyalgia is a disease of exclusion, meaning that everything else has been ruled out and you've been diagnosed with "pain of the muscles and tissues". We have seen amazing results already with laser treatment for fibromyalgia and we look forward to hearing many more success stories. The underlying principle is that by supplying the body with needed energy at a cellular level, we jump start the body's natural healing ability and allow it to move beyond a stasis point.

Did you know that prescription medications only work for 10% of those suffering with Fibromyalgia?

If you’re one of the many suffering from Fibromyalgia pain, we know that it can be frustrating. We’re excited to offer a new innovative therapy that is helping reduce pain for those suffering from this debilitating condition–FibroLux laser therapy.

Meet FibroLux laser therapy

This gentle, soothing treatment can be safely combined with your current treatments to temporarily relieve pain associated with Fibromyalgia.

Laser therapy, or photobiomodulation (PBM), utilizes light to inhibit the stimulation of pain sensors, and transmission of pain signals along the nerve fibers resulting in effective pain relief. Additionally, PBM can stimulate the release of the body's natural pain-fighting chemicals.

  • First FDA-cleared therapy laser for the temporary relief pain associated with fibromyalgia

  • Reduces tender point count

  • Decreases mean pain ratings

  • Improves Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ) scores

  • Fast treatment times

PBM reduces overall pain associated with FMS by up to 60%.1 Additionally, PBM reduces the number of tender points by 37%-57%.2 PBM has also reduced the impact of fibromyalgia syndrome on a person’s life. This was measured using the Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire.3 These outcomes (reduction in tender points and pain and increase in function) are magnified when PBM treatment is followed by exercise.4

About Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is defined by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) as a chronic widespread pain and tenderness in specific tender points characterized by muscular tenderness, pain, fatigue, and cognitive difficulties.5 It is not an inflammatory condition, nor does it lead to joint impairment or deformities.

FMS is common worldwide; it affects approximately 2-8% of the general population. Females are diagnosed three times higher than males.6 Overall economic impact of FMS is $12-$14 billion on indirect and direct costs plus $31 billion in lost productivity. The average out of pocket expense for an FMS patient with insurance was $5,310 annually.7

The first line of treatment for pain is medication. The FDA has approved three drugs to treat fibromyalgia: antidepressants duloxetine (Cymbalta) and milnacipran (Savella), plus the anti-seizure medicine pregabalin (Lyrica). These medications effectively reduce FMS pain by half in approximately 10% of the FMS patients who use them.
